The goals of the new plan include reducing national opioid prescriptions by one-third, improving access to evidence-based addiction treatment, and reducing the availability of illicit drugs within the United States. Medication-Assisted Treatment for Opioid Addiction
Medication-assisted treatment can help your child overcome his or her opioid addiction. Learn more about what it is, how it works and if it could work for your family. MOMSTELL President represented the Family Voice on the newly released Juvenile Drug Treatment Court (JDTC) Guidelines.
The new JDTC guidelines offer courts, families, and youth an evidence-based, treatment-oriented approach that emphasizes family engagement and addresses the substance use and often co-occurring mental health disorders experienced by many adolescents engaged with the justice system.
