 The Pastoral Recovery Education Program (PREP). 

  • The PREP program is designed to provide education, resources and opportunities for faith leaders and other interested community members to interact with those impacted by substance abuse/mental health.  PREP  creates a community-based network that  brings hope and healing to families and individuals who are in bondage from addiction and/or mental health concerns.   

 

Advocacy Training

  •  Legislative and Policy Training is available for organizations that want to learn the skills needed to be an effective advocate.

 

Statewide Parent Advisory Council Model

  • The Pennsylvania Parent Advisory Council for Substance Abuse”  is a model program to address family and community access to alcohol and drug abuse and addiction treatment. MOMSTELL developed the strategic framework and implemented the council, which began through legislative efforts to require the Department of Health to create this council.
