Partnering with other organizations in order to create change is crucial. MOMSTELL leadership has worked with state and national organizations to create joint efforts for educational outreach and positive change.

Collaborating with the National Family Dialogue for Families of Youth with Substance Use Disorders (NFD) to expand outreach to Families
- Currently working with Bringing Recovery Supports to Scale-Technical Assistance Center Strategy (BRSS-TACS) providing technical assistance to several states on family involvement issues
- Partnering with Unite to Face Addiction to bring the National Voice for addiction and Recovery Together
- Collaborating with Faces and Voices of Recovery to Promote Recovery
- Working with the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention's (OJJDP) Initiative to Develop and Test Guidelines for Juvenile Drug Courts providing expert input on the research evidence, guidelines development process, and dissemination plans that will serve as the basis for developing the new Juvenile Drug Court Guidelines.
- Working with Clear Concepts and Pastoral Leadership to develope and continue the implementation of the Pastoral Recovery Educational Program (PREP) to create a community-based network to bring hope and healing to families and individuals who are in bondage from addiction and/or mental health concerns.

MOMSTELL has a Memorandum of Understanding with the Partnership for Drug Free Kids to expand parent outreach to resources available and we are working with the Partnership and the Center for Motivation and Change to promote the program CRAFT- Community Reinforcement and Family Training. MOMSTELL board members have been trained as Parent coaches for CRAFT

Drug Watch International : MOMSTELL is a liaison network for Drug Watch Inernational
Drug Free Australia is a peak body, representing organizations and individuals who value the health and wellbeing of our nation. It plays a key role as a community voice, staying in touch with every day Australians - families and young people - via newsletters, community forums and the media, to ensure a clear message of healthy, drug free lifestyles is assured for generations to come.
Prior Efforts
- Founder Sharon Smith LeGore Co-chaired the planning committee for the March 27-28, 2009 historic first substance abuse family conference entitled “Families of Youth with Substance Use Addiction.
- Families of Youth with Substance Use Disorders” the first family conference took place March 27-28 2009. This national meeting included family representation from 34 states and 6 tribal nations. Mrs. LeGore was instrumental in pulling this historical meeting together in collaboration with the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment of SAMHSA
- Co-Directed the National Family Dialogue Family Planning Committee, for the Joint Meeting on Adolescent Treatment Effectiveness 2009- 2012
- "In My Own Words" contest, collaborated with the National Addiction Transfer Technology Center and the Faces and Voice of Recovery
- Created the Pennsylvania independent Parent Advisory Council for Substance Abuse: to address family and community access to alcohol and drug abuse and addiction treatment
- Participated in successful national campaign demanding Hershey Foods stop production of ice breaker packs. The mints packaged in small heat sealed square packets filled with white powder, resembled illegal drug packets
- Key participant in "Addiction Is Not Fashionable" campaign in opposition to Christian Dior's "Addict" product line. Sharon Smith LeGore met with Louie Vuitton Moet Hennessy executives from Paris executives
