Educational Training
Providing Educational trainings in the area of family involvement, advocacy efforts, the power of the family voice and the MOMSTELL organizational structure provides opportunities to extend our outreach and visibility.

- Family Involvement in Child-Serving Systems and the Need for Cross-Systems Collaboration
- The Pastoral Recovery Education Program (PREP) program is designed to provide education, resources and opportunities for faith leaders and other interested community members to interact with those impacted by substance abuse/mental health. PREP creates a community-based network that brings hope and healing to families and individuals who are in bondage from addiction and/or mental health concerns.
- MOMSTELL Created the first “Pennsylvania Parent Advisory Council for Substance Abuse” to address family and community access to alcohol and drug abuse and addiction treatment. MOMSTELL developed the strategic framework and implemented the council. This council began through legislative efforts to require the Department of Health to create this council.
