Optum® developed the survey in collaboration with MOMSTELL to help identify and develop the most effective treatments for addictions by learning from consumers and families what's important to them. Since the responses from consumers and families were gathered, Optum® has been working with researchers and providers to identify areas of consensus and/or gaps in care based on the survey results.  Optum® took the time to learn from us, and find out what our treatment needs are today. Our hope is that, sometime in the future, we can share this information across the country with other health plans and treatment providers. The ultimate goal of the survey is to work together to come up with answers that make a difference in the quality and access to care that will lead to the best possible outcomes. We want to help our loved ones get better and go on to lead healthy lives.
